We use account and technical information to authenticate users, provide searches and alerts, maintain platform security, improve reliability, communicate service updates, and respond to support requests. We do not treat a public-record search as evidence of criminal conduct.
03 Public-Record Data
DocketStream may display or link information obtained from public governmental and third-party sources. That information may concern other people and may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. Users must follow applicable law and use official sources for decisions that require authoritative records.
04 Sharing & Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that host, secure, monitor, or support the platform under contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell account credentials.
05 Security & Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
06 Your Choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting hello@docketstream.com. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal reasons. This policy should be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel for the production deployment.
